Mr. Johnson is an artist, educator,
and the Photography Department Chair. He introduced Digital
Imaging into the Photography Department and currently teaches
this technology and its relationship to all areas in the larger
field of photography.
As a former darkroom assistant to Ansel Adams at the Yosemite
Workshops and custom printer for other photographers, he earned
a national reputation for printing both color and black/white
images.
Mr. Johnson has owned his own business in Commercial / Illustrative
photography since 1978. His personal work has been widely
exhibited at galleries and universities throughout the country,
