Mr. Rager is a former student and graduate of Cypress College who joined the Adjunct Faculty in 1989. He teaches Alternative Processes, Photo-graphics, Wedding, Zone System, and Introduction to Photography. He was awarded the "Cypress College Adjunct Faculty of the Year Award" in 2000.

He holds a Master's Degree in Technology Education from CSULB and received the "Outstanding Student Citation Award" in 1992. He works full-time as a Production Color Digital Systems Analyst for Xerox Corporation with state-of-the-art digital printing technology.

For his personal work, Gregory prints exclusively using 19th Century Processes. For this, his cameras are 90 years old and require negatives from 4x5 inches to 12x20 inches.
